Wyoming Pipe & Drum

Welcome to the homepage of the Wyoming Pipe and Drum Band.  We are a 30 plus  member strong band located in the northeastern corner of Wyoming. Many of the band members call Gillette their home, but we welcome members from other cities in Wyoming and eastern South Dakota. We are a non profit organization that plays traditional pipe and drum style. We focus on performing in parades, concerts, and private venues. Our purpose is to provide entertainment, education and appreciation for Highland bagpiping and drumming, and to carry on the historical traditions of a Highland pipe and drum band.

The band offers instruction in piping and drumming for new members with a goal of transitioning the individual into becoming a productive member of the Wyoming Pipe and Drum. The band wears the full Highland dress uniform in Modern Red Cameron Dress kilt colors and Black Watch cap badge.

About the Band

The Wyoming Pipe & Drum Band has been around since 1997, and started with only two instruments, a set of pipes, and a snare drum! In nine years the Band has grown in instruments and membership and plays regularly at events in northern Wyoming and eastern South Dakota. You can find out when and where the band will be playing next by clicking on calendar. To read more about the band and their beginnings please visit the history page.
